• Less Pain
The laser seals nerve endings which means that less anestesia is required and post-operative pain is minimized.
• Less Swelling
A laser does not tear, crush or bruise any tissue. As a result there is minimal swelling after the surgery.
• Less Bleeding
Laser surgery causes less bleeding because the laser seals small blood vessels instead of severing them.
• Faster Recovery
Healing is rapid and there is less post-operative discomfort and a better course of healing.

It can be difficult for an uninformed person to recognize when his or her pet bird is ill. This is because they are animals of prey and cannot afford to show weakness. Your pet bird could get sick and gradually get worse without your knowledge. Learning to look for certain symptoms will help ensure that your pet bird gets proper treatment when sick.

Take your bird to the vet as soon as possible if it shows any of the following:
• Loss of feathers around eyes
• Minor changes in talking, biting or eating habits
• Shows changes in color, consistency or odor from droppings.

Heartworm Meds: Using heartworm preventative is essencial for any dog. The parasite is transmitted through mosquitoes and is prevelant throughout the entire year. Heartworms can kill your pet and even be transmitted to your other pets.
