A Comprehensive Physical Exam is recommended every 6 months in geriatric dogs. It is important to detect abnormalities that may not be observed at home. Older animals, like older humans, are prone to heart, kidney and other organ malfunction. Regular check-ups and routine laboratory tests are essential to catch these conditions early.
