Ultrasound

Ultrasonography uses sound waves to provide real-time images of internal structures. Through the use of ultrasonography our doctors can look at specific images, such as the valves of a heart, or an organ wall, and they are even able to take measurements of the various organs themselves. Not only does this provide them with a look at the normal anatomy of your pet, but it also enables them to visualize what a disease process may have affected. We are able to use the ultrasound, in many cases, without needing sedation. The ultrasound is a quick and painless addition to our arsenal of the highest quality tools available for you and your pet.
